These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and the developer of AlphaScreener ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using AlphaScreener ("the App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

AlphaScreener is an AI-powered stock screening and signal application that provides:

• Daily AI-generated stock signals and recommendations
• Multi-filter stock screening tools
• Historical performance analytics and win-rate tracking
• Personal watchlist management

The App offers both a free tier with limited access and a paid subscription tier (AlphaScreener Pro) with full access to all features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use AlphaScreener. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

AlphaScreener Pro is available through the following auto-renewable subscription plans:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• For the annual plan, the 7-day free trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.
• Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region due to local tax and currency conversion.

No refund will be provided for any unused portion of the current subscription period. All subscription purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support.

5. Free Tier

The free tier of AlphaScreener provides limited access to the App's features, including:

• Up to 5 visible AI signals per day
• Up to 5 signal detail views per day
• Basic screening filters only
• Limited watchlist capacity
• Limited performance history

We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AlphaScreener only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's backend services or databases
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App or its data
• Redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App's content or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of AlphaScreener, including but not limited to the AI models, signal algorithms, screening logic, user interface design, text, graphics, and software, are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Investment Disclaimer

• Stock investing involves substantial risk of loss, including the potential loss of your entire investment.
• Past performance does not guarantee future results. Historical win rates and signal accuracy are not indicative of future performance.
• You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
• We are not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner.
• You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and any resulting gains or losses.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any stock data, signals, or screening results.
• In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment losses.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer and any affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or any investment decisions made based on information provided by the App.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification shall survive termination.

12. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including:

• Apple StoreKit: For subscription processing and payment. Your use of Apple's services is governed by Apple's own terms and conditions.
• Backend API: Stock data and signals are provided through our backend servers. Service availability depends on server uptime and third-party data sources.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of any third-party services.

13. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of AlphaScreener, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
